HTC Sensation : Social Networking and Entertainment

With a brain that surpasses other smartphone and with the heart that bring out the beauty of qHD display to it limit, by now you should understand that this beautiful sensation is not a beauty you can’t cheat upon.

Don’t ever think that this beauty is anti-social. This HTC Sensation pretty much covered all of your social networks, with the likes of Twitter and Facebook weaved into the web of Sense, along with other services. Keeping track of updates takes place through Friend Stream.

Aside from the quick go-through with Friend Stream, you could always just go to the direct app for that specific social networking sites. E.g. below.

Entertainment was never left untouched. Rolling out with an expansive screen, 1.2GHz dual core chipset, 768MB RAM, G sensors and support for DLNA out of the box, there is plenty on offer here. HTC Watch,  is the HTC newly launched online movie store / rental kiosk, available on the Sensation, having made its debut on the Flyer. Although there seems to be a lack of really recent releases, but this is because it is quite new. Given the time to grow, and it would prosper brilliantly. They do look sensational though to watch with the Sensation 16:9 screen ratio and the processing power within the phone pair up to deliver a supreme movie-watching experience. If you weren't convinced that smartphones were big or good enough to make films enjoyable, you have never seen it on HTC Sensation.

Browsing with a sensation should be a one in a lifetime experience. With this beauty, you’ve really got space to roam around and take in websites. The 16:9 aspect screen arguably isn’t as good for reading as 5:3 displays, but the higher resolution means you’ll be able to resolve text on websites with less zooming. Being an Android it also brings with it the benefits of Adobe Flash compatibility, so you’ll get a fuller internet experience than some lesser devices. Bark all you want, this beauty have it all. She has a complete connectivity set. There’s quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and blazing fast dual-band 3G: 14.4Mbps downlink and 5.76Mbps uplink thanks to HSPA. The local wireless connectivity has Wi-Fi b/g/n and full DLNA support (both client and server, for images, videos and music) and Bluetooth 3.0.

My only pardon was that this video is not in English. But basically, this demo on internet browsing illustrates a few points upon using HTC Sensation to do so. No problem in playing flash images, flexible zooming and scrolling, opening up more browsing tabs, smooth transactions between tabs, streaming good quality videos,  and even saving web pages for easier references or sharing with others.

Next up, a function which a phone can never be without.
